CHIEF LEGAL OFFICER, ESQ, RHIA, CPHQ
Is an experienced attorney with a strong background in health information and privacy law in Puerto Rico. She brings extensive and robust expertise in state and federal compliance programs within the healthcare industry. A graduate of the University of Puerto Rico School of Law, she earned her degree Cum Laude, and also holds a master’s degree in health information administration from the Medical Sciences Campus. Attorney Ferreira is certified as a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) and a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ).
She currently serves as the lead attorney, providing strategic legal guidance to mitigate risks in the management of health data and information. Her clients include healthcare providers, business professionals, and organizations operating across the healthcare sector.
Her passion for Health Information Management and Law has driven her commitment to community involvement, advancing knowledge among professionals in health information and privacy law through active service in various professional associations

Is an experienced Health Information Administrator with a strong track record in hospital settings and the implementation of electronic health information systems. He holds a master’s degree in health information administration and is Registered Health Information Administrator, with expertise in clinical documentation improvement, quality standards, HIPAA compliance, and medical coding.
As Director of the Health Information Management and Compliance Division, he manages key projects focused on improving clinical documentation accuracy and ensuring regulatory compliance. He leads the planning, development, and implementation of training programs covering documentation standards, medical coding, HIPAA compliance, and related regulatory requirements. His project leadership supports the consistent adoption of best practices in health information management and compliance across the organization.
